Senior Tax Analyst, Information Reporting & Withholding

Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst. The position is hybrid in Los Angeles, CA.
- Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
- Review and validate tax documentation, including W-9 and W-8 forms, to support compliance requirements
- Analyze vendor payment activity to determine reporting obligations and applicable withholding treatment
- Assist with the preparation, reconciliation, and filing support for information reporting processes, including 1042-S reporting
- Support responses to tax notices, audit requests, and related issue resolution activities
- Maintain tracking tools and compliance schedules to ensure timely completion of reporting deadlines
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate supplier and tax-related records
- Assist with internal and external inquiries, reporting requests, and audit support activities
- Participate in operational enhancements, process optimization, and automation-focused initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred
- 5+ years of experience in tax operations, information reporting, withholding, or related compliance functions
- Working knowledge of IRS information reporting requirements, including exposure to 1042 and related withholding processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation activities
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
