Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which include physical assessments and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Aid in diagnosing surgical conditions via imaging and lab result interpretations
• Work closely with surgeons in formulating and implementing tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative assistance by prepping surgical suites, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative support, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge arrangements, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
