Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which include detailed physical assessments and careful reviews of medical backgrounds
• Contribute to the diagnosis of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and laboratory findings
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, ensuring the surgical environment is prepared, patients are positioned correctly, and surgical instruments are adeptly managed
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which incorporates medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completed clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practices is highly desirable

Necessary Certifications

• Valid and current PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
