Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 36-Hour Weekly Guarantee

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge RN on a 24-bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry capability on all beds, with a heavy telemetry focus
• Provide direct patient care for adult populations with strong emphasis on neurological and cardiac monitoring and intervention
• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 on night shift, adjusting based on acuity levels
• Float to all Medical Surgical units and ICU as needed to manage Medical Surgical overflow patients
• Collaborate with on-site support staff including telemetry technicians, Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs), and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Work within a facility that provides 24/7 hospitalist, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy coverage with no IV team on unit

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
• Prior Charge RN experience required
• Strong proficiency in neurological and cardiac nursing skills
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Sunrise Allscripts EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current PALS certification preferred
• Experience working in high-acuity telemetry environments
