Full Stack Developer - Remote Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer - Remote position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications and sites that engage and retain visitors
• Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites
• Manage latest requirements for cross-browser compatibility and page optimization
• Develop application and sites to include social media and mobile functionality
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes
• Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction
• Articulate ideas and demonstrate a willingness to bring new ideas to the forefront frequently
• Maintain excellent knowledge base of industry trends and developments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 9+ years of professional software development experience, primarily in backend engineering
• Strong expertise in Java (versions 17/21) and Spring Boot
• Proven experience building APIs and microservices in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with reactive programming frameworks (e.g., Project Reactor, WebFlux)
• Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Strong understanding of RESTful services, API design, and integration patterns
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and event-driven design
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment

Pay range: $49.66 - $59.66 per hour
