Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: - Staffing ratios: Telemetry 4:1; Med/Surg 5:1. - Uses Pyxis. - IV team available Monday-Friday, dayshift only, and may not be available at all times based on patient care needs. - No lift team and no unit secretary. - Pharmacy and phlebotomy available 24/7; transportation available Monday-Friday, dayshift only. - Hospitalist coverage 24/7; intensivist coverage 7 days a week on dayshift, with night coverage by phone/on-call.

Shift & Scheduling: - Facility will also offer 4x12 shifts. - Every other weekend rotation expected; may adjust based on business need. - Scheduling is a mixture of self-request and business need.

Special Requests: - No holiday time off. - Time off requests may be no longer than 2 weeks at a time. - Prefer no RTO during the assignment.

Floating Requirements: - May be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles. - Per union contract, required to float to any Med/Surg/Tele department to take patients. - Required to task in all other departments, including ED, ICU, and OB.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
