This postion is located at the MOTHERHOUSE in East Peoria 1175 Saint Francis Ln East Peoria,Illinois61611 United States *Public Transportation not available for this location.* Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The housekeeper is responsible for a wide variety of housekeeping tasks within the Motherhouse/Novitiate complex. This includes general housekeeping tasks such as daily and routine cleaning of offices, private quarters, and common areas. Persons in this position also participate in project cleaning activities such as stripping and waxing floors, project cleaning entire rooms/areas and carpet cleaning. On a rotating basis, will also perform as a laundry worker and on the telephone switchboard. Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions when following work assignments, to read in order to interpret labels when preparing cleaning solutions and efficiently follow Supervisor's work orders. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to be courteous to the Sisters, visitors, and personnel when performing housekeeping tasks. Analytical skills necessary in order to determine what supplies need to be re-ordered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
