PT Housekeeper

Position Details Position Title: PT Housekeeper Campus: All Campuses Employment Type: Carpenters Union, StaffPart time Department: Custodial Services Start Date: Compensation Compensation for the Housekeeper is $18.63 an hour. Schedule & Campus The schedule for this position is Saturday - Wednesday from 5:30AM-12PM on our East Peoria campus. Illinois Central College has three campuses (East Peoria, Peoria, Pekin) and housekeepers may rotate between the campuses as needed. Essential Functions Vacuum carpets and sweep, dust and mop floors. Spot clean floor coverings, walls, doors and window glass. Dust and polish furniture and fixtures. Empty and reline wastebaskets. Clean drinking fountains. Clean restrooms and replenish supplies. Pick up trash and refuse and deposit in appropriate containers. Assist during emergency situations or hazardous conditions. Assist custodians as assigned. Assist set-ups as assigned. Perform related duties as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license or equivalent with an acceptable driving record. Manual dexterity. Physical ability to lift and carry safely a minimum of 50 pounds. Must be able to work at all locations as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Completion of high school diploma or equivalent with six months or more of direct experience. Completion of high school diploma or equivalent with one or more years of related experience.
