Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Semi Trailer Repair Mechanic to join our team in Austell, GA. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet by performing maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers. Responsibilities
Inspect and diagnose issues with semi-trailers, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake adjustments.
Repair or replace damaged parts and components, ensuring all work meets safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each trailer.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance repair techniques.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is a plus.
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with semi-trailers or heavy-duty vehicles.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
