• Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (18:00–06:30)
• Travel Requirements: Not required — float between like units not required

Job Summary

This is a NICU Level III travel nursing position at an Acute Care Hospital in Apple Valley, CA, averaging 190 births per month. The role is a Night Shift contract assignment (3x12 hours) requiring specialized NICU experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU environment
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including weekends every other (may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs)
• All RTO must be included at time of submission; approval will be based on facility's needs

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Ability to work weekend rotations as required by unit needs
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered

Education Requirements

• Active RN License required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• At least 1 year of experience in NICU specialty required
• First-time travelers accepted

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue (RNs); scrubs provided for L&D/OR
• Parking: Free parking available

• Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Local radius: 50 miles — please contact recruiter for local rate
