Patient Registration - Customer Service Representative

Location & Shift Location: LifePoint Maria Parham Health Shift: PRN, as needed; minimum required hours a month 48, 24 on call, additional shifts available Responsibilities Help patients navigate the registration process Answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion Gather accurate information quickly in a fast‑paced environment Build trust with patients during moments when they may be scared, confused, or overwhelmed Work across multiple computer systems to register patients efficiently Answer phones and collect information quickly and accurately Assist patients who may be ill, anxious, or confused Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details (with training) Adapt to interruptions from clinical teams during urgent care situations Build rapport and ease patient concerns in real time Remain on your feet, think fast, and make a real impact in a dynamic environment Requirements High School Diploma or GED Strong customer service experience Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements Preferred Medical or healthcare experience (not required) Benefits & Compensation Base pay range: $16.00 – $21.10 per hour, determined by role, level, location, and experience.
