Schedule: Monday-Friday, About 7.5 Hours per Day

Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week

Duration: 2026-2027 School Year

Start Date: August 20, 2026

Pay Rate: Up to $45/hr (based on experience)

Position Overview

We are seeking two compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing support throughout a school district for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative educational environment with strong RN support and a well-established nursing team.

Early start schools begin at 7:30 AM , while remaining schools begin at 8:30 AM .

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health services to students during the school day.

• Administer prescribed medications and maintain medication documentation.

• Monitor and support students with diabetes management needs.

• Respond appropriately to seizure-related emergencies and health concerns.

• Perform G-tube feedings as assigned.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing the SNAP charting system.

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and RN supervisors to support student health plans.

• Ensure compliance with school health policies and nursing standards.

• Provide a safe and supportive environment for students requiring healthcare services.

Position Details

• 2 LPN Openings Available

• One position is assigned to a school-based location only per day.

• One position requires travel to the May School for a scheduled noon G-tube feeding. Would return to days' assigned school location after.

• Occasional floating between schools may be required.

• Full support and supervision provided by experienced RN staff.

• No tracheostomy care responsibilities.

• No oxygen management responsibilities.

• Schedules provided no later than the weekend before the start of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.

• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

• Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred but not required.

• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the district nursing team.

• Reliable transportation required for the position involving travel between schools.
