Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center. Deliver compassionate patient services while adhering to safety standards and hospital guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately upon arrival in the emergency department.
  
  
• 
  Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and update patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information and treatment details using Cerner electronic health record system.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certifications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid nursing license with at least 2 years of recent ER or Level 2 trauma center experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (or within required timeframes).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong teamwork, coaching, and feedback skills.
  
  
• 
  Show flexibility to operate across all areas of the emergency department.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication skills and cultural competence in a multi-lingual community.
