Natural Gas Trading Analyst

The Natural Gas Trading Analyst supports the trade team with reporting needs and managing complex trade details. This role ensures consistent, accurate publication of the Daily P&L and forward positions, while driving process improvements and enhanced reporting capabilities through tools like Power BI. What You’ll Do Manage daily P&L validation, resolve discrepancies, and deliver timely results to key stakeholders Collaborate across Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Legal, and Accounting to ensure alignment Drive process automation and develop reporting dashboards Monitor operational risk exposures, maintain compliance and audit readiness, and ensure accurate ETRM data capture Analyze key drivers behind daily P&L movements What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mid-office or scheduling role within the energy or commodities sector Proficiency in ETRM systems and advanced Excel Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python for reporting and data visualization Strong ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills to work across diverse teams and personalities Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python for reporting a plus CXL ETRM knowledge a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr CIMA ENERGY, LP
