Job Summary:
An operating room (OR) registered nurse (RN) position is available in Tracy, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the surgical environment, supporting various procedures including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, OB/GYN (Cesarean sections), and Plastic Surgery. Candidates must have a valid California RN license and be prepared to bring their license on the first day. The position requires recent OR experience, and candidates must be flexible to work overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job Details:

• Location: Tracy, California
• Schedule: Overnight shifts on weekdays and weekends with coverage 24 hours each day, including holidays, requiring availability for approximately 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, minimum of 2 years recent OR experience in a community hospital or Trauma level 2 facility, circulating experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Spine, Urology, Robotics, OB/GYN (Cesarean sections), and Plastic Surgery, with conscious sedation experience, proficiency in Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system, and ability to work on-call as specified (overnights on weekdays, weekends, and holidays).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and laser safety.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable administering conscious sedation, supporting GI cases, and performing C-sections. All certifications must be current, in hand, and meet American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross standards at the time of submittal. Two references obtained within the last year are required. Vaccinations for COVID-19 and influenza are required.
