Shape reliable production on the night shift

As a Third Shift Maintenance Mechanic, you’ll keep our food manufacturing lines running safely and smoothly while helping raise equipment reliability and glove quality. Your overnight work blends proactive care with fast problem-solving so production hits targets without compromising food safety.

A day (or night) in the role

At the start of the shift, you’ll review open work orders, walk the line with Production, and prioritize preventive maintenance before the rush. When an issue surfaces, you’ll move quickly—troubleshooting, repairing, and returning assembly and packaging equipment to service. You’ll document what you did and why, then coordinate the next steps so the team is ready for the next run.

What you’ll tackle

• Set up, calibrate, and repair assembly and packaging systems in full alignment with food safety requirements.
• Execute preventive maintenance routines on all production assets to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Install, troubleshoot, and stabilize new or modified plant equipment.
• Complete assigned projects on time while meeting all applicable food safety standards.
• Support Production and Maintenance tasks as needed to keep output on track.
• Partner with Production to surface, communicate, and resolve quality and safety issues.
• Work in accordance with OSHA and site safety procedures for every task and repair.
• Accurately log maintenance activities as directed by the Maintenance Manager (e.g., work orders, time entries) to monitor performance and trends.
• Use tools and shop equipment correctly and safely.
• Identify, escalate, and help address equipment concerns with the Maintenance Manager.
• Join overtime assignments when required and provide on‑call support as needed.
• Handle other related duties as assigned by the Manager.

What you bring

• Associate degree in a Maintenance Technology discipline or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• 1–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Solid grasp of maintenance terminology and best practices; strong safety orientation.
• Ability to thrive in a team setting and collaborate across functions.
• Working knowledge of GMP, OSHA expectations, and production operations.

Schedule & work environment

This is a third‑shift position in active production spaces. You will encounter strong aromas, airborne dust from ingredients, and operate in proximity to running machinery. Overtime and occasional on‑call coverage may be required.
