Responsibilities Execute complex repairs and preventive maintenance on diverse industrial machinery and auxiliary components. Perform high-quality electric arc and acetylene welding to support structural integrity and equipment modifications. Design, install, and maintain comprehensive piping systems, including tubing, fixtures, and fluid distribution networks. Utilize precision measuring devices and specialized power tools to diagnose mechanical issues and restore optimal performance. Collaborate with team members by providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff to improve overall department efficiency. Manage material handling tasks, including the use of forklifts, to support installation and maintenance projects. Qualifications Required Skills Journeyman certification or equivalent professional experience in an industrial maintenance capacity. High school diploma or GED. Proven ability to perform manual labor in a heavy industrial or foundry-style environment. Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in reading technical documentation and schematics. Preferred Skills Prior hands-on experience within a foundry or heavy manufacturing setting.
