Material Handler (Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift Startup)

Shift & Pay:

• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, ~5:30pm–4:00am

• Training on 1st shift (~7:00am–5:30pm) for ~1 month

• Pay: $24-28/hr (DOE) + potential shift differential

Overview:

Join a growing, well-funded manufacturing startup as a Material Handler / Forklift Operator . This role offers the chance to run a one-person 2nd shift operation , taking ownership of material flow in a clean, temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks

• Load/unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility

• Pick, pack, and stage orders using RF scanners (SAP/ERP)

• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts

• Follow GMP and safety standards

• Organize storage areas and support production flow

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years forklift experience (sit-down & stand-up)

• Experience with reach trucks and RF scanners (SAP or similar)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 10-hour shifts on your feet

• Comfortable working independently

• Strong safety mindset

Preferred:

• GMP / cleanroom / food-grade experience

• Startup or fast-paced manufacturing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
