Job Opportunity

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Seattle, WA. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, covering for a caregiver on leave.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cardiac procedures including:

Pacemaker and Defibrillator lead extraction/removal
Watchman procedure
Arrhythmia induction
Cardiac ablation
Cardiac mapping
Cardioversion
Conduction studies
Insertion and programming of AICDs
Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
Pacemaker insertion

Administer medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics.
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG readings.
Provide patient education, emphasizing lifestyle changes and medication adherence.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Current RN license required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology nursing.
Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
Must possess excellent skills in patient engagement and education.
Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar environment is preferred.

Additional Information

Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
No weekend or on-call requirements for this position.
Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if necessary.
