Location: Colorado Springs, CO .
Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts per week (approx. 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Position Details:
Patient Population: Oncology/Hematology patients (comprehensive cancer care)
Setting: Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic with outreach services
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care, multidisciplinary collaboration, outreach services to rural clinics (Lamar & Trinidad approx. 6 days/month), participate in quality initiatives and coordinated cancer care programs
Required Procedures: Not specified
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Established practice with 12 physicians, 8 APPs, nurse navigators, social workers, and multidisciplinary oncology team
Days Per Month: Four-day workweek model with outreach days included
On-Call/Weekends: Limited shared call; minimal weekend requirements
Submission Requirements:
- Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Hematology & Medical Oncology
- Colorado Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- DEA License required
- Willingness to provide rural outreach services ( 6 days/month)
- Visa support not available
