Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Webmaster. We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Volunteer Webmaster to help maintain and enhance our online presence. This is a great opportunity to use your digital skills to support a meaningful mission, expand your portfolio, and contribute to real community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain website content (programs, events, announcements)
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, accessible, and visually aligned with our brand
- Monitor site performance and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Apply basic SEO strategies to improve visibility and outreach
- Upload blogs, newsletters, and event pages
- Assist with website security, backups, and updates
- Collaborate with team members on campaigns and fundraising initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience with website platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (a plus, not required)
- Strong attention to detail and dependability
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in nonprofit or community-focused work
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Passion for supporting faith-based initiatives and empowering women
- Prior experience with nonprofit organizations or ministry-related work is a plus
