OBGYN Opportunity

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Northwell Health seeks an OBGYN Generalist to join our Rhinebeck team as we expand Women's Health services across the Health System. We are seeking a well-trained and caring OBGYN who prefers to work in a small-town setting with all of the sophistication of a major medical center.

***The physician will see patients in the Northern Dutchess Hospital clinic and take call shifts at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. The locations are approximately 30 miles from each other. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Northern Duchess Hospital is an 84-bed , not-for-profit, community hospital. The hospital has an 87,000 square foot pavilion that has advanced clinical care available to the community. The pavilion has spacious, private patient rooms and state-of-the-art surgical suites equipped with minimally invasive technology, including the da Vinci Surgical System.

Rhinebeck is part of one of the largest historic districts in the US located along the scenic Hudson River. Rhinebeck offers New York City culture in a friendly, small-town setting. The village offers a plethora of restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, as well as larger events at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Outdoor enthusiasts will find great skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and boating nearby. We are seeking a physician who desires to escape the hustle and bustle of big city living, while retaining access to top-rated restaurants, performing arts centers, museums, excellent housing and school systems, and prestigious colleges and universities. Area colleges include Bard, Vassar, Marist, and SUNY New Paltz, as well as the Culinary Institute of America. New York City is easily accessible via Amtrak

Sharon Hospital is a 78-bed general hospital located in northwestern Connecticut. The Labor and Delivery room sees between 150-200 births per year. Sharon Hospital provides a full range of services including bariatric surgery, cardiology services, emergency care, neurosciences, orthopedics, stroke care, surgical services and women's services.
