Wholesale Sales Representative

Role Overview

Apply your technical B2B sales expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality, real-world sales input. This remote contract role focuses on wholesale-sector selling, including qualifying leads, communicating technical solutions in business terms, and managing complex, extended sales cycles. No prior AI experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and qualify B2B leads in the wholesale sector, using advanced methods to assess fit and potential.
• Translate technical product features and specifications into clear business benefits for non-technical audiences.
• Develop persuasive written proposals and deliver verbal presentations aligned to customer needs and project goals.
• Address and resolve objections using consultative selling skills and product knowledge.
• Document sales interactions and customer feedback to produce actionable insights that support AI training.
• Nurture complex opportunities throughout long sales cycles with patience and persistence.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators to deliver accurate, relevant, high-quality work.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of technical B2B sales experience, ideally in wholesale or complex solution environments.
• Demonstrated success prospecting, qualifying, and advancing leads through long-term consultative sales cycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn technical information into compelling business value propositions.
• Experience with B2B lead prospecting and qualification, objection handling, and basic technical product knowledge.
• A track record of effective objection handling and closing strategies in technical sales settings.
• Ability to work independently in a remote project environment.
• A background in engineering, science, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
• Experience providing feedback or documentation for training or process improvement is a plus.

Compensation
