Title: Survey TechnicianLocation: Williamsport, PAHire Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months)Salary: $30-$42/hrBenefits: Medical, dental, visionSterling Engineering is looking for a Survey Technician in Williamsport, PA. This opportunity is with a growing engineering team supporting natural gas infrastructure projects.Job Duties:Support soil erosion and construction inspections for natural gas main replacement projects.Perform topographic surveying and field data collection using GPS equipment.Travel to project sites (up to 2-3 hours) with occasional overnight stays as needed.Work extended field hours when required and support office work between field assignments.Maintain safety compliance and proper use of required PPE.Assist with drafting and design activities when applicable.Qualifications:2+ years of relevant field or office experience.Topographic surveying experience required.Familiarity with GPS surveying equipment.Valid driver's license with safe driving record.Ability to work independently and travel regularly to project sites.Strong understanding of safety procedures in field environments.Drafting certification or equivalent experience preferred.Certified or willing to become a SESC Field Inspector.Working knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin,
