Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical ICU (MICU) travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA, United States. Start date 09/14/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay $1,775-$1,880 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (12x3). The assignment is in an inpatient MICU/critical care setting. No local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill adults in the MICU, including ventilated and complexly monitored patients
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes, titrate medications as ordered, and manage lines, drains, and IV therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines; participate in rounds and care planning
- Perform ongoing nursing assessments, document in the Cerner EMR, and ensure accurate medication administration and charting
- Adhere to AHA BLS and ACLS protocols; perform NIHSS assessments as indicated; respond to codes and rapid responses
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality of care in a fast-paced ICU environment; support Covid ICU care if assigned

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (Georgia) or eligibility per licensure requirements
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification (or ability to obtain) and demonstrated 2 years of recent MICU experience
- Cerner EMR experience preferred; prior work in a Medical ICU and/or Covid ICU environment is preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days per week) in a high-acuity inpatient setting
- Willingness to work designated major and minor holidays as part of schedule
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location
