Job Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical exams and evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings
• Work closely with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including preparing surgical suites, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care including managing medications, wound treatment, discharge processes, and educating patients

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
