Payroll Coordinator

Payroll Coordinator Position Summary Payroll Coordinator position is accountable for collecting timekeeping information, incorporating a variety of deductions into a period payroll and issuing pay and pay-related information to employees. The Payroll Administrator will also assist upper management with information on employees as required. Essential Functions Input new hires and personnel changes into the system Process terminations in system Enter pay details into payroll system(s) Answer telephone promptly Ability to answer questions regarding payroll policies Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Attention to detail Excellent client service skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment Must possess sound decision‑making skills and multi‑task while working in an environment of stress with specific deadlines Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience processing Multi‑State Payroll preferred Compliance with Drug-Free Workplace Policy Able to pass a pre-employment background check upon offer of employment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Present a professional appearance and adhere to company dress code Available to work a (minimum) 40-hour week Physical Demands Regularly required to sit for long periods of time Constant interaction with computers and prolonged periods of viewing monitors Frequent telephone use on a multiline system Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally lift and or/ move 10 to 25 pounds May be required to climb stairs Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
