We are a tech-centric company and an innovation laboratory within the only founder-led, top 10 bank in the U.S.The Product Manager for the Enterprise Payments team plays a critical role in achieving our goals. This is a highly collaborative role, where the individual will work closely with a team of product managers as well partnering with designers, engineers, data scientists, operations, and business partners to transform the experience for all of our customers. Through this collaboration, the individual will shape the product strategy and then develop, launch, and enhance payments experiences that will meet the unique needs of our customers, ranging from consumer to small business to commercial personas across both lending and deposit products.Your product forms the technical backbone of Capital One's payments ecosystem — the platform through which every payment rail, line of business, and channel connects, orchestrates, and settles. Our core is not a customer-facing product; it is the platform that makes every customer-facing payment possible. You will define the capabilities, contracts, and standards that rail teams build against: the SDK that governs how payment events flow across ACH, Wire, RTP, FedNow, and Check; the orchestration layers that ensures transactions complete reliably or compensate gracefully; the observability and resiliency infrastructure that keeps hundreds of millions of transactions moving at scale. To fit the bill, you will need deep fluency in platform product thinking — defining developer experience, API contracts, and integration patterns with the same rigor that a consumer PM applies to a customer journey. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Manager, Product ManagementNew York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Manager, Product ManagementRichmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product ManagementWilmington, DE: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
