AP Manager

Role Overview The Accounts Payable Manager manages and coordinates the day‑to‑day operations of the AP department by overseeing the preparation, analysis, and organization of AP functions. The position is also responsible for managing staff, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of payments, and other duties assigned by the Controller. Salary Range $95,000–$115,000 Personnel Management Manages daily employee activities including determining specific work assignments and monitoring individual staff productivity. Trains employees in policies and procedures related to AP function. Maintains strict confidentiality. Support Functions Manages all activities in the accounts payable function. Ensures timely submission of reports to treasury. Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense reports. Maintains accurate records of payments and invoices. Reviews accounts payable register for accuracy and performs reconciliation on a monthly basis. Ensures that AP processes are performed by staff. Reviews and audits all check requests and seeks necessary approval. Provides assistance to the Controller on developing and implementing specific reports and analyses. Communication Skills Works closely with the Controller in communicating and assessing productivity and results. Provides written analyses and recommendations to the Controller. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred. 3 or more years of AP management experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
