Duties and responsibilities for an IT Specialist (InfoSec/Systems Admin) GS-2210-13 include but are not limited to: Assists in identifying, assessing, and documenting deployment and return of IT assets. Assists in the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of enterprise hardware and software systems. Maintains configuration management records and system baselines by documenting hardware, software, and configuration changes. Manages the IT asset lifecycle by maintaining accurate inventories, supporting audits, and resolving discrepancies. Coordinating provisioning, maintenance, and disposition in compliance with organizational and federal requirements. Conditions of Employment / Requirements You must be a United States Citizen or National. You must successfully pass a security/background investigation and a drug screening. Qualifications To qualify for the position of IT Specialist (InfoSec/Systems Admin) at GS-2210-13, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Basic Qualifications (2210 series): Please refer to the OPM website for the full list of qualifications. Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS‑13 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS‑12 grade level in federal service, or comparable non‑federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties: Manages and maintains IT asset inventories. Supports asset audits and reconciliations. Coordinates asset maintenance and disposition activities. You must meet all qualification requirements by the 06/29/2026 closing date of this announcement.
