Full-Time Live-Out Nanny for Infant | Westport, CT | Fall 2026 Start

A warm, welcoming Westport family is seeking an experienced, nurturing full-time live-out nanny to care primarily for their infant. The family has two older boys (ages 6 and 9) and will also have an au pair in the home, allowing the nanny to focus almost exclusively on the baby’s daily care.

The ideal candidate is loving, dependable, proactive, and experienced with infants. This family values long-term relationships with their caregivers and has maintained wonderful connections with previous nannies and au pairs.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Start: August 24, 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, full-day care for the infant
• Manage feeding schedules, naps, developmental play, and daily routines
• Create a nurturing, engaging environment that supports healthy development
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
• Light family cooking is appreciated but not required
• Drive as needed using the family’s vehicle
• Run occasional family errands
• Work collaboratively alongside the family’s au pair and household staff

The Ideal Candidate

• Extensive infant experience
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Warm, patient, and highly reliable
• Organized, proactive, and able to take initiative
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented household
• Strong swimmer
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED required

Family & Home

The family has two wonderful older boys:

• A fun-loving, energetic 9-year-old who enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and staying active
• A creative, imaginative 6-year-old who loves arts and crafts, jokes, magic tricks, and imaginative play

The nanny’s primary focus will be the infant, while the au pair handles the older children’s morning and after-school routines.

The family also has two friendly dogs and employs a personal assistant. They have extensive experience employing household staff and pride themselves on creating a respectful, supportive work environment. They are happy to connect candidates with previous caregivers who can share their experience working with the family.
