Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert speech-language pathology services in a welcoming school environment near Dover, DE. This full-time, on-site position is suited for professionals passionate about working with children and committed to fostering communication skills that support educational success. This opportunity is open to travel candidates seeking a rewarding placement in a supportive school community.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric populations within a school setting
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to children across varying grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in parent meetings, teacher consultations, and student support planning
  • Maintain accurate records while adhering to state and school standards
  • Stay current with developments in speech-language therapy and educational practices
