Proposal Specialist

Proposal CoordinatorHERS Advisors has partnered with an industry leading law firm who has a need for a Proposal Coordinator to work in their Downtown, Los Angeles or Irvine, California office (hybrid). The Proposal Coordinator will report to the firm's Proposal Manager and develop competitive, high-quality RFP responses and proposals from start to finish. The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for leading the proposal development process from kickoff and work plan development to document production, editing and final review as well as interview presentation deliverables.Responsibilities For Proposal Coordinator:Lead proposal process for multiple concurrent RFPs, RFIs and RFQs from kickoff through submission and interview materialsEstablish work plans and ensure strict adherence to interim and final deadlines leading up to proposal submissionsFacilitate kickoff meetings to discuss proposal requirements, writing assignments, win themes and schedulesCustomize existing proposal content to be responsive to specific RFP questions, including effectively combining otherwise independent content and practice descriptionsDraft persuasive and reader-friendly copy based on information from research, meetings with internal clients and Firm experience, as neededOversee proposal production and delivery, ensuring quality and compliance with all RFP requirements and consistency with Firm guidelines, including layout and formattingTrack completed proposals to help maintain firm wide proposal statisticsSupport proposal initiatives, including creation of content repositoryRequirements For Proposal Coordinator:Bachelor's degree is required2+ years of experience working in law firm or professional business environment is required1+ year of experience writing for a business audience is requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is requiredPrior proposal knowledge and experience is a plusStrong written and oral communication skills, including reading comprehension, editing and proofreading capabilitiesSalary range: $55,000 - $70,000.
