Job Title: Telemetry Technician
Location: New York, NY 10029
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Local Candidates: $1,000 – $1,400 per week
- Travel Candidates: $1,400 – $1,700 per week
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) in multiple clinical settings, ensuring proper electrode placement
- Communicate effectively with charge nurses, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Accurately enter and verify orders within the electronic medical record system
- Retrieve and review laboratory results, promptly reporting critical findings to the charge nurse
- Maintain documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards
- Safely operate and manage telemetry monitoring systems and related medical equipment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
- Telemetry Technician Certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Telemetry Technician in a hospital setting (required)
- Completion of a Dysrhythmia Course required
