• Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• 5 Days per Week (Weekends Required)
• 37.5 Hours per Week (7.5 Hours per Day)
• 100% Onsite

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to provide advanced cardiac monitoring and support patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment. This role involves continuous ECG monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response to critical cardiac events.

• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) across various clinical settings ensuring accurate electrode placement.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias with a high level of accuracy.
• Identify and respond promptly to life-threatening rhythm changes.
• Initiate emergency response protocols and document cardiac rhythms during code events.
• Conduct continuous EKG monitoring and respond to alarms appropriately.
• Troubleshoot and maintain monitoring equipment.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Enter and verify physician orders in the system.
• Retrieve and relay laboratory results to clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
• Operate medical and monitoring equipment safely.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Education & Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Completion of Dysrhythmia Course

Experience & Skills:

• Experience with ECG/EKG monitoring required
• Strong arrhythmia interpretation skills required
• Experience performing electrocardiograms (EKGs)
• Order entry experience required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Strong ability to recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• English proficiency (read, write, speak) required

• Experience retrieving laboratory results
• Documentation experience in clinical settings
• Experience operating monitoring and medical equipment

• Contract position with immediate start opportunity
• Emergency Department assignment
• Strong experience in ECG monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation is essential
