Part-Time Accounting Assistant
Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in the manufacturing sector here in Rochester! As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing daily accounting tasks and supporting various departments within the company! If interested apply today! Pay Rate: $25 - $26/hr Schedule: M-F 25hrs/week (9am-2pm or 10am-3pm) Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily vouchering in MAX and Dynamics systems.
- Manage customer receipts from various platforms including ACH and checks.
- Spearhead Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties.
- Update credit card transactions into Dynamics software.
- Handle daily invoicing processes and email invoices to customers promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end projects as directed by the Controller.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Accounting; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience working with accounts payables and accounts receivables.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as MAX and Dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
