Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, including cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone, following strict protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to abnormalities.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop, update, and execute patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Alabama RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience working with cardiac drip medications and telemetry patients.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience in a large healthcare facility.
  
  
• 
  Possess a BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule.
  
  
• 
  Travel experience and compliance with Tier 1 travel regulations are required.
