Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Medical Surgical/Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care in a large healthcare facility. This role involves night shifts, block scheduling, and requires proficiency in managing adult and geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer medications and intravenous drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vitals and respond to clinical changes swiftly to ensure safety.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately and completely within electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all facility policies, state licensure requirements, and compliance protocols.
  
  
• 
  Provide compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to adult and geriatric patients.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active Alabama or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of recent, relevant clinical experience.
  
  
• 
  Must have experience working in large healthcare facilities.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with IV drips, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work night shifts (3x12 or 4x12 hours) with up to 1:6-7 patient ratios.
  
  
• 
  Travel experience required; previous travel assignments preferred.
