This role is responsible for generating new business, building lasting relationships, and positioning the hotel as a go-to destination for corporate groups, social gatherings, association business, and special events.This is an opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to play a key role in shaping the future of El Tropicano while helping create memorable guest experiences that feel effortless, energetic, and distinctly local.What You’ll OwnGroup Sales & Revenue GrowthActively generate new business through networking, outbound sales efforts, prospecting, community involvement, and relationship-buildingIdentify opportunities to grow market share across corporate, association, SMERF, tour & travel, and social group segmentsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, planners, travel partners, and local organizationsPosition Sitio El Tropicano as one of San Antonio’s most dynamic and welcoming destinations for group stays and gatheringsClient Relationships & ExperienceServe as a trusted partner by understanding client goals and helping shape tailored experiences that align with the energy and personality of El TropicanoDeliver responsive, thoughtful service that builds repeat business and long-term partnershipsStrategy & Market PresenceHelp shape the vision and long-term foundation for group business at El TropicanoContribute ideas that strengthen the hotel’s sales strategy, partnerships, programming, and visibility within the marketStay connected to hospitality trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within San Antonio and beyondCollaboration & LeadershipPartner closely with hotel leadership, revenue management, catering, and operations teams to achieve sales goals and create seamless guest experiencesSupport the development of sales initiatives, promotions, and business development strategiesMaintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and account management within sales systemsWho You AreA proactive business developer who enjoys networking, prospecting, and building meaningful relationshipsA strong communicator with confidence in sales conversations, negotiations, and client presentationsMotivated by building something meaningful and contributing to the growth of a lifestyle-driven hospitality brandPreferred Experience2+ years of hotel sales, group sales, hospitality, or business development experienceExperience within lifestyle hotels, resorts, or destination-driven hospitality brands preferredBonus points for Delphi experienceKnowledge of the San Antonio buyer market strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
