Nimah Beauty Bar is an expansion of Nimah Hair LLC. We celebrated 5 successful years this year and are opening our first Beauty Bar this September! Looking for Professional Salon Managers who are energetic, friendly, and ambitious with an outstanding client service attitude and ability, to lead our team! Cosmetologist experience is not required, this is a customer-service and sales focused position, however a cosmetology license is a plus!

Mission of a Salon (Beauty Bar) Manager:

• To provide consistent leadership to all stylists
• Be the one to set the pace and role model for what is expected
• Be there for employees when they need help
• Lead by example at all times

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years salon management experience
• Able to work a flexible full time schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Superior client service and leadership skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Expectations:

1. Act with integrity, passion and in the best interest of the Nimah Hair Bar

2. Pursue greatness, do not accept mediocrity

3. Take pride in the Nimah Beauty Bar and continually look for ways to improve morale and enhance the client service experience

4. Be proactive to do what is needed, when it is needed to ensure the smooth operation and growth of the business

5. Be at the Nimah Beauty Bar during the busiest hours of the salon, to provide leadership and guidance

6. Effectively communicate with the management team and in-store team

7. Complete assigned responsibilities and special projects on time and satisfactorily; communicate status if project is larger than expected or delayed

8. Use good business judgment, ask a lot of questions and learn quickly

9. Work as a team to accomplish goals

10. Take and apply feedback in a constructive manner

11. Be proactive in identifying problems and developing/proposing solutions

12. Humble leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22,100-$35,360 annually (est. $17 per hour)

Qualifications

Experience:

• Management, 2 years (Required)

• Stylist, 3 years (Preferred)

Location:

• Houston, TX 77084

License:

• Cosmetology (preferred)

Language:

• English (Required)

• Bi-Lingual in Spanish is a plus
