Responsibilities Lead the culinary team in preparing high-quality consistent dishes that meet the restaurant’s standards. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and food safety compliance. Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team. Oversee catering events, ensuring seamless execution. Maintain strict inventory control to minimize waste while ensuring the availability of ingredients for all menu items. Enforce food handling and safety regulations diligently across all kitchen activities. Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and procurement strategies to optimize operational efficiency. Lead by example in kitchen cleanliness, organization, and professionalism at all times. Experience Extensive culinary and high-volume experience with a strong background in fine dining environments. Proven supervising experience managing kitchen staff in a fast-paced setting. Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, and food service management. Prior event experience with skills in catering coordination and event execution. Familiarity with inventory management systems and inventory control procedures. Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills; capable of motivating diverse teams. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; certifications such as ServSafe are preferred. Experience in restaurant or hospitality management roles is highly desirable. Skilled in food handling techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations across various cuisines. Ability to oversee shift management efficiently while maintaining high standards of service quality.
