Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 06:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday. On-call required after daily cases end, including 24-hour weekend coverage.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist plays a pivotal role in performing various invasive cardiac procedures and ensuring quality care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures including heart caths, PCI, and electrophysiological ablations.
• Utilize equipment such as x-ray, impella, and various stents, wires, and guides.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, adhering to established protocols and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems including Hemomerge & Meditech Expanse.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor them throughout interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Radiology Technologist or RCIS certification is required.
• Previous cath lab experience is a must.
