As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.0 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 04:30 PM - 02:00 AM Thur: 04:30 PM - 02:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, employees, contractors, and utility customers; verifying access authorization; and directing individuals to appropriate offices or service areas. Operate the front desk in accordance with site‑specific procedures, including maintaining visitor records, issuing temporary access credentials, and receiving deliveries and incoming communications. Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and other security‑related systems as assigned; promptly report unusual activity, access concerns, or equipment issues to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established utility location procedures and notifying appropriate contacts. Support a professional, orderly front‑desk environment by answering phones, providing basic site information, and documenting security‑related activities in required logs or reports. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
