Job Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for cardiovascular surgical procedures including cardiac and vascular cases
• Provide anesthesia services for general surgery cases (bread and butter procedures)
• Deliver anesthesia care for neurosurgical procedures as needed
• Participate in CV-focused call rotation on alternating weeks
• Collaborate with surgeons, cardiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Cardiovascular anesthesia experience required
• Fellowship training not required
• Active or eligible for Oklahoma medical license
• DEA certification required
• Strong clinical skills in anesthesia administration and patient management
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
