Real Estate Counsel

A leading US law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Finance Counsel to join its growing New York practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Real Estate Finance Lawyer to take on sophisticated lender-side work within a highly regarded national real estate platform, advising major financial institutions on complex commercial real estate transactions.The successful candidate will have 8+ years of commercial real estate finance experience, with a strong background representing secured lenders on balance sheet, bridge and CMBS/conduit transactions. Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily agency lending, affordable housing transactions and/or real estate workouts would be highly advantageous. Candidates should have strong technical drafting skills, excellent academics and the ability to build trusted relationships with both legal and business teams.New York Bar admission is required.
