The team needs an independent thinker and someone who is not afraid to try things or offer suggestions. Someone with payroll experience, someone who understands pretax items and the impact on wages, who can think through payroll adjustments, someone with great communication skills who can communicate with employees. Someone who is professional and responsible, someone who has great follow through.Required Qualifications:HS diploma or equivalent coupled with 5 plus years’ experience in the payroll professionMulti-state large employer experienceGarnishment processingExtensive payroll & time system knowledgeMulti-state Tax CalculationShort Term Disability Calculation including offsetsOverpayment Calculation and RecoverySalary ProrationsProficient in MS Office applications specifically excelPhysical in-office presenceFlexible work schedule to accommodate employees on the West CoastAbility to thrive in a fast-paced complex deadline-oriented environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)ADP Vantage Payroll & Vantage Time Platform experience
