This role plays a vital part in maintaining a safe, reliable, and high-performance environment by addressing preventative and corrective maintenance needs while ensuring continuous operation of all boiler room functions. Your expertise with boilers, chilled water systems, and water treatment will ensure our operations run smoothly, directly supporting JLL's commitment to excellence in facilities management and client satisfaction.What your day-to-day will look like:Monitor and operate boiler and utility system equipmentMake necessary adjustments to main plant equipmentTroubleshoot equipment and respond to building automation or alarm systemsPerform routine and preventative maintenanceConduct chemical analysis to optimize system performanceComplete corrective maintenance as neededAnswer boiler room and facilities department phones and dispatch personnelMaintain accurate documentation of work performed, calls, and operational logsResearch and order supplies as requiredMaintain cleanliness and organization in assigned areasRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)3–5 years of related facilities or boiler room experienceClass 4 NIULPE power engineer's licenseWorking knowledge of boiler systems and operationsAbility to operate and understand diagnostic and computer equipmentCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally assisting with heavier tasksAvailability for variable shifts under close supervisionPreferred Qualifications:General knowledge of water treatment and chemical analysisFamiliarity with building automation and alarm systemsBasic knowledge of computer operations beyond diagnosticsAttention to detail in documentation and reportingStrong communication and phone-handling skillsAbility to research and order supplies efficientlyThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
