You will join an experienced team of 4, taking the lead in supporting the company's focus on large-scale base build projects.Your new roleAs a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for bidding on base build projects typically valued at $10 Million - $15Million, preparing detailed estimates for the projects, and ensuring accurate and competitive bids. This role involves analyzing blueprints, specifications and other documents, bid preparation, cost analysis, vendor and subcontractor coordination, risk assessment, budget monitoring and working closely with the Project Managers, Engineers, Architects and other stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed7–10 years of estimating experience in the construction industry A proven track record of bidding base builds projects valued at $10Million+ within the commercial, educational and government sectors. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field. Strong analytical and numeracy skills to accurately estimate costs and assess project feasibility. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
