Join us in Jefferson, where we work together to make a difference in the lives of pets and our community.As Factory Quality Technician, you will provide analysis of ingredients to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. You will be performing multiple tests of finished product samples and escalating tests when needed. Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of lab equipment including maintenance, cleaning, and calibration. Identify trends and reactions to out-of-specifications as appropriate. Coordinate external services for calibration of equipment and equipment maintenance. Support Total Performance Management process (TPM) including use of RedZone and Poka. Follow laboratory practices and lab safety manual guidelines.Requirements:HS Diploma or GED equivalent1+ years of experience in quality, food manufacturing, or related environmentMust have the ability to work nights as weekends. This is a 12 hour night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.Salary: $44,038.80 to $63,464.00 per yearBonus Eligibility: YesThe pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at top of range.
