We are currently seeking a motivated Quality Assurance Inspector to join a well‑established plastic company located in Monrovia. Looking for 1st 6am‑2:30pm and 7:30pm‑3:30pm. Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Quality Assurance Inspector Supervisor and the Lead Quality Assurance Inspector, provide quality assurance inspection support to non‑critical parts. Ensure integrity and quality of parts received from outside vendors as well as final products produced by Roncelli Plastics. This position will utilize confidential information, confidentiality agreement is strictly enforced. Essential Functions Receiving Inspection – Perform thorough inspections on all incoming raw material, finished goods, hardware, processed parts from vendors and customer supplied material. Verify that all documents are received and comply with the purchase order. In‑Process Inspection – Perform inspection throughout the manufacturing process from first article to final inspection in a fast‑paced environment. Verify first articles, audit production jobs, initiate SPC when applicable, and WIP inspection process. Final Inspection – Ensure all operations on job traveler are completed and stamped off. Perform dimensional and visual inspection of product per customer PO, blueprint, drawing, checklist, part list, etc. Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and/or Dimensional Inspection Data Reports. Verify required part marking, unit packaging, and documentation accompany shipment. Miscellaneous – Basic computer knowledge and ability to use manufacturing software such as JobBoss, Docuware, PC‑DMIS, MS Office. Perform other duties as required. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Minimum of 3‑5 years of inspection experience in a plastic and/or metallic machine shop environment. Level II QA Inspector. Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality standards and internal audit procedures. Competent on inspection tools and equipment calibration procedures, including the tool recall process. Capable of using Comparator and Micro‑Vu with minimal supervision. Advanced blueprint knowledge and basic shop math – Confident in reading mechanical blueprints, aware of basic rules. Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparators. Perform geometric/trigonometric calculations, measurement conversion, and understand GD&T. Complete inspection forms and reports. Programming / Operation – Basic to mid‑level knowledge to program and operate Keyence, CMM, and Romer Arm. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and respond to unforeseen requests. Keen attention to detail with strong visual acuity. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management. Physical Demands Walk and/or move around the workplace. Stand and/or sit for prolonged periods. Bend at waist and/or knees. Lift and/or move objects up to 10 lbs (occasionally up to 25 lbs). Assistance available for lifting over 25 lbs. Move arms, wrists, hands, fingers in repetitive motions including keyboarding. Feel and perceive attributes of an object such as size, shape, distance, weight, and texture. Express, perceive, and exchange thoughts, questions, and instructions in written and oral communication in English.
